i'm a poet and i didn't even know it

I can always find a palindrome, I’ll bet you my last dime,
Like dad, and mom, and race car, but I can never find a rhyme!

Alliterations are easy to say, Larry loves luscious limes,
I can even talk a tough tongue twister but I can’ find any rhymes!

I’m even such a failure I might as well be a mime,
It would be a disgrace to say anything if you couldn’t say it in rhyme!

If I could find a rhyme for silver, that would be sublime!
I can’t rhyme orange or purple, so just face it, I can’t rhyme!

I just can’t! I can’t rhyme the words climb crime or slime,
Wait…who am I kidding, I’ve been rhyming this whole time!
